Been dealing with some crazy weather the past couple weeks but we’re managing to stay on some decent fish. We still have some gift certificates available for that special Christmas gift.

The fall shad run has started and the fish are starting to gang up on main river shell beds. As we move forward into fall and our water temps start dropping expect some of the best fishing of the year. The topwater bite is getting better everyday.

Sorry about the lack of freshwater reports. I’ve been on vacation filling our freezer with the tasty offshore species. Back to Bass Fishing next week vacation is over.

With the recent rains we are seeing higher water levels and more current which equals great summertime Bass fishing. Water temps are hot and the fish are feeding great during the early morning.

It’s been another unbelievable week of Trophy Bass Fishing for my clients. If your looking for a guide with over 37 years of experience guiding clients to Trophy Bass in Central Florida please give me a call. Last year we had two of our biggest bass of the year caught in the month of May weighing 11.8 and 12.0 pounds and June was very good also!

The shad spawn has started and the big fish are taking full advantage of it around daylight. Artificial Bite is picking up and great things are getting ready to happen here on the St Johns River. Still have a couple days in April open and a few days in May. With the shad spawn starting late this year I’m expecting a great June and July for Trophy Bass Fishing.

It’s been a crazy week of weather here in Central Florida. Mother Nature have thrown us cold fronts, 25 MPH wind some rain and a little sunshine. We’ve made the best of it and caught some very nice fish each day.  I have a few days still open in April and May.

Well it’s been one crazy week. We’ve had to deal with 30 mph winds and Major Cold Fronts changing water temps from the high 70’s to mid 50’s in a matter of a few days. My clients have done well on big fish but the numbers of fish did drop off a bit this week. We were met this morning Friday March 9th 2018 with 37 degrees temps and a good breeze from the west. My Client Nick and I made a run up the St Johns River and found the honey hole. Before 9 am Nick had 5 fish in the boat weighing 45.8 pounds and topped off with a Beautiful and Healthy 13.2 pounder measuring 30 1/2 inches in length and 21 1/2 inches in girth. She was released and is ready to do battle again. We will have some single pictures of Nicks fish posted on the front page of the website soon. This picture doesn’t do the 13.2 pound fish justice but it does makes the 9 pounder on the left look little.  I have days open in April and May so if your looking for some great Trophy Bass Fishing Please Give Me A Call.

My clients have had a blast the past few days catching some great Trophy Bass between 8 and 11 1/4 lbs. Clients Tommy and Bill chose to fish artificial baits an had a 5 fish limit that weighed 37 pounds topped off with a 9 3/4 and 8 1/2 pounder. My good client Kirk came close to his personal best of 12 lbs with a beautiful 11 1/4 pounder caught on a Big Wild Shiner.

Been another great week and also a special week of Trophy Bass Fishing here on the St Johns River. I actually got to spend today Friday 2/16/2018 with one of my favorite teachers from Lakeview Middle School in the early 70’s some 45 years ago Coach Steele.  The warm weather seems to have the fish wanting to bite early so get out there and get em before that sun gets up.

Another great week of Trophy Bass Fishing.  After coming off one of the best fishing yet coldest January’s I can remember in my 37 years guiding here in Central Florida February has started off unbelievably well also here on the St Johns River. I really don’t know if the fishing can get any better then it’s been the past month but what I can tell you is, we’re fixing to find out. I have a couple days in Feb open and a few days in March. April and May are booking up fast also. Water temps have been cold and we have been using Large Wild Shiners to catch these St Johns River Bass Trophy Bass. Remember we are only minutes away from Orlando, Disney World, Daytona Beach, New Smyrna Beach and Cocoa Beach Florida.

It’s been a very cold but also very productive week of Trophy Bass Fishing here in Central Florida. We had temperatures dip into the mid 20’s (yesterday) Thursday and low 30’s this morning but we were still able to put some great fish between 6 and 9.2 pounds in the boat each day. My good client Bill S is here for 5 days of Trophy Bass Fishing and these photos are from the first two days of his trip yesterday and today. Jan 18th and 19th. I still have a few days in Jan open and also a few days in Feb and March.

Remember the St Johns River is only minutes from Orlando, Disney World, Daytona Beach, New Smyrna Beach, and Cocoa Beach FL. Check our Trophy Pages.
